Apr 3, 2010 Ok updated the Guild Bank page to refelct the current settings as far as the guild is concerned. Also added a link to the WOW Info Sites for WoWpopular and WoW-Horoes websites. WoW-Heroes is a good site to check your gear,enchants,gems, etc to see if you have the best for you spec in them or not. WoWpopular is a site I found that will show you the popular stuff for diffent spec, glyphs,talents,,etc. As always the site are meant to be guides and not the be all and end all when it comes to gear,glyphs,etc. In the end it is your character and you can darn well do whatever you want with it. The biggest thing is that you have fun. For those of you who may not know me I am the guild leader and kinda the walking wow reference source in the guild sort of. I know have 1 level 80 of every class but warrior ( I am working on that one) so I have a pretty good idea about what each class can do or is capable of doing. You can feel free to ask me any questions you may have and if I can't answer them if they relate to a particular class then I probably know someone in the guild who can help you. I hope everyone is still enjoying the game and the guild. I have cleaned out the guild bank and reworked the tabs a little. Will be changing bank access accordingly. Try to put stuff in the appropiate place in the guild bank, when in doubt put it in the tab where someone of the approiate level could use it (ie, Potions that you need to be level 70 to use should not be put in the tab for lvl 1-40, and same goes for a potion that you need to be lvl 20 for this should not show up in the level 41-79 tab.). The level 80 tab I figure we could use for High End stuff for badge grinding, Instance running, etc. Guild Elder tab will be for special stuff ( ie stuff we want to have available for guild raids / events, or stuff we want to set aside to reward guild memeber with). I will try to be more regular about cleaning out the guild bank as needed. But enough about the guild bank. 2010 promises to be another interesting year for WoW when next expansion comes out I am looking foward to it and hope the rest of you guys are also. Well enough talking back to gaming...lol. As always have fun if your not having fun then maybe you should consider taking a break from the game. I will be updating the web site soon with the new rank structure. The biggest change is the introduction of Guild Elder. These people will be chosen to represent certain Class/Spec's also people who have been with the guild from day 1 will also become guild elders. The number of Guild Elder slot will be limited and once all the slots are filled there will be no further promotion to that rank unless a current Guild Elder either leaves the guild or voluntarily steps down. Be forewarned if you leave the guild or you step down from guild Elder rank you will never be one again. So don't even bother to ask. Right now here is the list of Guild Elders Archangle - Original member Boggie - Original member Nabah - Original member Davrimbasher - Pally Class lead Grandgene - Original member Simmacus - Warrior Tank lead Also there are Hanilii , Kelo, and me. But we kinda co-lead the guild so we will not be taking up any of the Elder slots. There will be more to come in the near future as we decide on who should fill the remaining slots. We would really like to start pushing getting people raid ready by running heroics as much as we can would like to maybe see about having 2-3 solid 5 man teams for heroics to help people work on getting geared right now the biggest need is for tanks and healers. Aug 22, 2009 Needless to say am starting to get bored with the game again. So if you don't see me much will probably be playing my Horde toon on Bloodhoof server Stevrona (a BE mage). Have missed you guys. It has come to light that people are abusing the repair privilages that were instutited by me. Kelo will be taking steps to curtail this. Bye Bye repairing from guild bank. I will be playing Lord of the Rings Online more then anything for now so just wasn't fair for me to keep the rank of guild leader any longer. It has been a pleasure to be a member and leader of the guild, I will still be on from time to time so you may still see me on from time to time. Hope the guild continues to continue on. Am trying organizing the tabs on a Rank basis also opened thing up a bit as far as withdrawals. Am hoping this will allow the guild bank to be a little more useful to guild members. Will have to wait and see how it goes. I did open repair money available a bit just try to remember if use use guild bank money for repairs try and be sure to replace it evetually so it will be available for others, repairing with money from guild bank is intended to be there for emegency purposes. For now am gonna have it as a reserve tab, everyone will be able to see what is in it, but only Guild Leader and Asst. Guild leader will be able to put anything into it or take anything out of it, at least until I decide what it's final disposition will be. Also am looking into what to do with any money in the guild bank now that we have the last tab. This decision is not open to the general guild as a whole but will be discussed between Guild leader,Asst. Guild leader and Guild Trustees. To celebrate the occasion Me and Simmacus are sponsoring a little guild race to level 80. Any level 70's that wish to participate will need to send 200g entry fee to Stevron by Sunday, November 16,2008. Now you may be asking what do I get if I get to 80 first. Well you win 1/2 of all the entry fees. The other half will go to guild bank to help buy the last bank tab. First let me say hope everyone is enjoying the new Achievement system and Talents. The official calendar to use for guild events will be the one that Blizzard put in with the patch. Mostly because since Blizzard is the ones who added it everyone has it. I have it setup so anyone "Guild Trustee or Higher" can add an "Guild Event". On a better note I have upped tor ventrilo server from a 30-man vent to a 60-man vent due to the recent growth spurt we have had in the guild. Also for those that hadn't noticed I switched over guild leader from Starbow to Stevron since I seem to be on with Stevron more then any of my other toons. You can do alot of stuff with macro's if you get them setup right just one example is the sheeping/resheeping macro I listed there for the mages in the guild. So feel free to list any macro's you find usefull in the forums who knows some one else in the guild may find a use for it also or even may find a better way to do what you are doing. -Starbow (a.k.a Phealar,Talonnus,Stevron,Doreniac,Malthalus,Ravenclawz) July 18, 2008 Ok just found out today that WOW ACE Updater is no longer being supported as such I have switched over to WOW Matrix for my addon updating needs I will be posting an addon list of all the addons that I use on the My_Addons Page almost all of the ones I use can be gotten through WOW Matrix.
